DY-201 dimethyl silicone oil, chemical name polydimethylsiloxane, molecular formula is:(CH3)3SiO[(CH3)2SiO]n-Si(CH3)3,
This product is a colorless and transparent liquid, can be prepared transparent products; with low surface tension, can form a uniform film; gas permeability, the formation of breathable film on the skin; hydrophobic polymer, giving moisture resistance; high molecular weight liquid wash, stay to give sunscreen and make-up products waterproof.

Use
1. Hair care: It can reduce dry and wet combing, improve hand feeling and hair luster, reduce static electricity, and is used for shampoo, hair conditioner, hair mask, hair spray and hair tail oil.

Usage and dosage
Similar to ordinary mineral oil, it is added in the oil phase and emulsified after mixing. The recommend dosage is 0.5-5%.

Precautions
Contact with high concentration of strong acid or alkali substances and Lewis acid has the tendency of degradation and volatilization, the higher the temperature, the more obvious the reaction. There is a tendency for the viscosity to become high up to cross-linking when a strong acid or a strong base is brought into contact with it at a low concentration or under the action of a high temperature for a long time.
